Bestowing Beauty: Masterpieces from Persian Lands Exhibition Graphic Design

The main hurdle in an exhibition filled with object cases and muted purples, was creating attention grabbing moments for the section texts. The section text tells the story of the area you’re viewing and is an important part of the exhibition storytelling. Pulling patterns from the art of the time and region, I created matte gold and purple patterns to draw viewers towards each section text, serving as wayfinding that guides the audience through the art. I also created a map of the region to illustrate where the exhibition’s artifacts originated and to put the geography of the region into proper perspective.
